Call for proposals for the second three-year funding

Our Priority Programme “Reconstructing the deep dynamics of planet Earth over geologic time (DeepDyn)” (SPP 2404) is designed to run for six years in two three-year funding periods. On 15 Sep 2025 the DFG published the call for the second three-year funding period.

All proposals advancing the understanding of the lower mantle’s influence on the dynamo through geologic time are invited. The deadline of the pr with a 14 Jan 2026 deadline.

Proposal should be submitted in English to the DFG by 14 January 2026 through the elan-portal. Please note that you should have registered at the elan portal by 15 December 2025.
