Researchers gathered at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München to discuss the fruits of their research and the potential for future collaboration on the Latin American region. The event was initiated by the Latin America Network to inspire exchange among scholars from multiple disciplines and regions and to strengthen the role of LMU in Latin America.

Prof. Johannes Glückler introduced the GIST-Hub, a new strategic and long-term partnership soon to be established between the LMU and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. The project aims to develop evidence-based governance solutions for sustainability transitions and equip decision-makers with transformative competencies. Beginning in February 2025, the GIST-Hub seeks to connect researchers across both, Germany and Chile, and facilitate the development of collaborative projects focused on energy transitions, the governance of resources, and the promotion of sustainable und circular economies.

A big thank you to our colleagues for the engaging discussions and valuable exchanges, especially to Prof. Eveline Dürr, Benjamin Loy, and Dr. Carlos Alberto Haas!
