Neither LMU nor TU Munich charge tuition fees for the international master's programme in Geophysics. However, there is a small fee for student services and a basic "semester ticket" for public transport. Further information and current numbers can be found here.

Finding affordable accomodation in Munich can be quite a challenge. Please note that LMU Geophysics is in no position to provide help in this respect. Also note that, contrary to other countries, German universities typically do not operate dormitories. You will need to find accommodation on your own.

The following information by LMU concerning Housing in Munich might be of help in this process. Additionally you might check the information by TUM on how to find accomodation.
