I studied Geophysics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) finishing with a Diploma in 2009 and worked at LMU on various research projects concerned with induced seismicity at deep geothermal projects since then (MAGS, MAGS2, SECURE, ..).
Research Interests
I am interested in all topics surrounding induced seismicity, especially in the context of deep geothermal projects in Bavaria. I am also working on operation of temporary and permanent seismic networks for both monitoring natural and induced earthquakes, including both station setup in the field as well as software implementations for acquisition, quality assurance and event detection. Furthermore, I work on core development and maintenance of the ObsPy project, used by seismologists worldwide.
