My research focuses primarily on vesiculation of magma (i.e., volatile exsolution and bubble growth) in dynamic conditions, such as decompression or impact events. I do experiments investigating the mechanical response of rocks (Uniaxial Compressive Strength test, Drop Tower) as well as dynamic petrological experiments (Cold Seal Pressure Vessels).
