After her diploma in computer science from the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg in 2004, she joined the HPC Software group at the Leibniz Supercomputing Center in Munich/Garching. From 2005 to 2012 she was a task and a work package leader in PRACE and PRACE-1IP. The focus of her work was on novel architectures and new parallel programming languages. After a long parental leave she joined the computational seismology team of Prof. Alice-Agnes Gabriel at LMU in 2022. She is now leading the tasks "Software as a Service" and "Technical Training" in the EU-funded project Geo-INQUIRE.
