Postdoc
I am Post-Doc in global geodynamics in the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and the Technische Universität München. I finished my PhD in May 2025 in the UPLIFT Research Training Group (RTG) and since September 2025 I have taken the role of the post-doc of the RTG.
2025 Outstanding Student and PhD candidate Presentation (OSPP) contest at the European Geoscience Union (EGU) General Assembly 2025.
2024 24th Deformation Mechanisms, Rheology and Tectonics – Best oral presentation award.
2024 Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Severo Ochoa Mobility Grant.
2023 Australia-Germany joint research cooperation scheme, Travelling grant (DAAD).
2022 10th Spanish-Portuguese Assembly of Geodesy and Geophysics – Best student presentation award in Seismology and physics of the Earth interior.
2015–2016 Collaboration grant, Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya (ICGC), Barcelona
I am particularly interested in the evolution of mantle plumes: how they are modelled, which parameters affect their evolution, and their interaction with the lithosphere. During my PhD, I worked on extracting globally distribution of sediments to observe, map, and track changes in topography due to mantle convection. I use this observation to test and further develop analytical and global geodynamic models.
