I am interested in how intraplate fault systems evolve over long timescales and how deformation is recorded in the structural, mineralogical, and geochemical processes within fault zones. My work focuses on using geochronological approaches to unravel the timing and recurrence of fault activity in crystalline basement terrains, particularly in Central Europe. More broadly, I aim to understand how deep lithospheric processes influence crustal deformation and the development of stable continental interiors.
