Prof. Dr. Fader contributes to the “8th Meeting of the Convention of the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes - Task Force on the Water-Food-Energy-Ecosystems Nexus” in Geneva, Switzerland. In her working group, that is dealing with future strategies of the task force, she acts as a rapporteur (December 2023).

Prof. Dr. Hank is the Topic Leader for the field "Identifying Observational Gaps" at the workshop "EO4NUTRI - Earth Observation for estimating and predicting crop nutrients" at the University of Twente (Enschede, Netherlands) (September 2023).

Prof. Dr. Fader contributes to the workshop “Translating the Climate-Security Nexus“ at the George C. Marshall European Centre for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany). As part of the working group “Mediterranean and West Africa” the contribution is focused on identifying security challenges for NATO (July 2023).

Prof. Dr. Fader contributes to the UN Water Conference in New York (USA). The contribution is focused on identifying the opportunities and challenges for establishing an intergovernmental process around water challenges (March 2023).

Prof. Dr. Fader contributes to the “7th Meeting of the UNECE Task Force on the Water-Food-Energy-Ecosystem Nexus” in Geneva, Switzerland. The contribution is focused on identifying links between the Nexus and the Water Convention (December 2022).

Prof. Dr. Hank contributes to the “Advanced Training Course on Land Remote Sensing” as an ESA-lecturer at the Institute for advanced Studies in Köszeg (Hungary), dealing with the topic of “Hyperspectral Remote Sensing for Agriculture and Water” (November 2022).

Prof. Dr. Hank follows an invitation to speak at the 2nd ESA Workshop on International Cooperation in Spaceborne Spectroscopy in Frascati, Italy. There he holds a presentation "Towards agriculturally relevant product retrieval from spaceborne spectroscopy data - Status and Challenges” (October 2022).

Prof. Dr. Fader holds a presentation at the Montan University in Leoben, Austria on “Do we have a water crisis? And if yes, how do we solve it?” The focus lies on integrative methods for sustainability (July 2022).

Prof. Dr. Hank is the keynote speaker at the ESA Living Planet Symposium in Bonn (Germany) and gives a presentation on "Quantifying seasonal dynamics in crops using the EnMAP-Box Agricultural Applications“ (May 2022).

Prof. Dr. Fader lectures on “The water-food-energy-ecosystem Nexus and the future of global food security” in Münster (Germany) (May 2022).
