We mourn the loss of

Professor Dr. Heinz Schulz

born 05.06.1935 died 01.12.2024

Professor Dr. Heinz Schulz taught from 1984 to 2001 at the Faculty of
Geosciences at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.

He was an outstanding and internationally recognized teacher and researcher in the field of crystallography and mineralogy.

We thank Heinz Schulz for his commitment to the interests of the faculty, which he led as Dean with conscientious foresight and great skill.

We mourn the loss of a great personality and will always remember him fondly.
Our sincere condolences go to his family.
