Impressions from the Great Alpine Excursion

7 Oct 2024

Tobias Hank and Christoph Heinzeller took the students on a journey up, down and across the Alps.

For really understanding Geography, sometimes we have to climb mountains, get underground in old mines, and crawl though ravines.

On their large excursion, Tobias Hank and Christoph Heinzeller have taken their students on a 1500km travel up, underneath and across the Alps. On different locations, such as the Pasterze glacier in the HighTauern mountain range, the former mining city Idrija, the karstic caves of Škocjan, and the cliffs of Duino, the students experienced Geography first-hand.
