Dr. Olabisi S. Obaitor and Vu Thanh Bien were on a field trip to Thua Thien Hue province in Vietnam to validate the result of the urban growth model developed for the Thua Thien Hue. They conducted site inspections to compare real-world changes with the model's simulation. Their observations will be used to refine the model for more accurate predictions of future flood risk in Thua Thien Hue.
