19.09.2023: Kleinstadt Klimafit and GoingVis at Climate Adaptation Week 2023

20 Sept 2023

The GoingVis team was invited to present project results and talk about social adaptation in small cities in Germany at the second Climate Adaptation Week 2023. The Climate Adaptation Week is organised annually by the Centre for Climate Adaptation (ZKA), an initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV). For one week, events on the topic of climate adaptation take place throughout Germany (analogue, digital and hybrid). Together with Kleinstadt Klimafit, which is a spin-off of the GoingVis project now independently doing training camps with small towns in Germany to kickstart climate adaptation processes, Julia Teebken together with partners, shared some project experience of the training camps that took place in 2022/23. The training camps are part of the last project phase, which aims to ensure a transfer of the GoingVis approach to other small cities across Germany.

There were further site events led by our project partners Leuchtturm LOUISE and PLATZ-B.
