At our second STEPSEC stakeholder workshop in Leipzig on the 12th and 13th of June 2023, we discussed potential socioeconomic development pathways for Germany together with representatives from politics, economy, society, and research and analysed the resulting potentials for land-based CDR methods such as afforestation, BECCS and forest management.
