06/2024: Julia Teebken presents FES study “Social Issue of Climate Change” at Planetary Health Dialogues

At the invitation of the Center for Planetary Health, Dr. Julia Teebken guest on July 4th, 2024 at the Planetary Health Dialogue on the topic: "Social climate policy - climate-resilient social policy: How does this work?" . Together with Dr. Ines Verspohl, head of social policy at the new think tank Zukunft KlimaSozial, and the audience discussed the following questions:

• How can socio-economically disadvantaged groups who are particularly threatened by the effects of climate change and other ecological crises be better supported by politics?

• What role can or must distribution issues play in climate protection and adaptation policy?

• How does communication succeed that integrates social issues instead of playing them off against each other? Can the healthcare sector play a larger role in this?
