Teaching along the SDGs

In September 2015, all member states adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at the United Nations Summit in New York. The international community thus expressed its conviction that global challenges can only be solved by working together. At the heart of the agenda is an ambitious catalog of 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs). At ISB website, clicking on the icons for the 17 goals will take you to further information and materials.
In these subchapters, you will find specific examples of classroom activities that are linked to the LehrplanPLUS curriculum and thus illustrate how ESD can be implemented in the classroom. In addition, you will find examples of good practice for each goal taken directly from schools. The project descriptions provided can be adapted for your own projects. Each goal is also supplemented by a list of links with ideas for classroom activities.
The materials presented are not sorted by school type or subject, but you will find information about the target group in the descriptions.
In addition, you will find detailed information on another ISB website about learning formats and learning locations that enable extracurricular education for sustainable development.
