Valuable children's books in many languages have been stolen from the library. From whom? Why? The task of the international team of investigators is to find out. The game "The secret of the vanished books", which can be played via video conference or in the classroom, is a short online role-playing game aimed at learning groups of all school types between the ages of 9 and 12. In this game, the children take on the role of investigators and have to solve a theft in the international youth library in Blutenburg Castle together with the Munich police inspector.
The Starmanufaktur role play emphasizes listening and speaking and encourages empathy by changing perspectives. Of course, the pupils also acquire media skills along the way, but the focus here is on having fun with creativity and independent thinking.
The game can be accessed via the medienBox of the Educational Institute Munich.
