The teaching and research station Wartaweil of the Department of Geography can be used for seminars, workshops, practical courses, research work etc. after prior registration.

82211 Herrsching
A) take the S8 from Munich main station to Herrsching (49 minutes), then approx. 2.5 km on foot, e.g. along the riverside path.
B) take the S6 to Starnberg-Nord, then change to bus 951 in the direction of Herrsching (travel time approx. 35 min, 18 stops) to the Herrsching, Panoramastraße stop. From there 17 min on foot.
You can reach Wartaweil from Munich e.g. via the A96 (exit Wörthsee) and via the
St2349 and St2068 (approx. 40 minutes from the center).
After passing through Herrsching heading south, you will reach a traffic circle at the end of the town, which you follow in the direction of Weilheim. You will reach the entrance to the station after 950 m on the right-hand side (gray gate, house number Wartaweil 13).
