Computer Labs
Our faculty has three computer rooms available for lessons and free work.
| Opening hours: | The opening hours of the computer rooms correspond to the opening hours of the building. |

| CIP Info: | Many questions regarding the use of the computer rooms, availability, installation and licensing of software etc. are explained in detail in a CIP-MOODLE. To participate in the course, you need an active LMU campus ID. You will also need the enrollment key (CIP4evR). This video explains how you can enrol for MOODLE courses at LMU. |
| Service: | For general questions about the use of the CIP rooms as well as hardware and software malfunction reports, please contact our service address cip.team@geo.lmu.de |
| Print & Copy: | Printing and copying in color and black and white is possible in CIP-1. |
| Virtual Access: | The CIP rooms can also be used virtually (e.g. via Remote Desktop). We explain the procedure in our CIP-MOODLE. |
| Access & Occupancy: | All students enrolled at the Faculty of Geosciences (major, minor) have access. During the lecture periods, the CIP labs are partly occupied by courses. Please refer to the notices on the rooms and the CIP-MOODLE (always up to date) for the occupancy times. |
| Log in: | Your campus e-mail address with the corresponding password, which you also use to log in to the LMU campus portal, works as an identifier. Before you can log in to the CIP rooms, you must carry out an "initial registration" for the campus ID you were given when you enrolled. |
| Facilities: | A total of 78 computer workstations running MS Windows 10 are available, which are networked via a central data and license server. |
