Student coaching

We coach you in confidential one-to-one meetings whenever necessary. Experience has shown that the desire for such discussions arises in study situations that are perceived as crisis situations, for example in transitional phases such as the choice of subject, the transition from Bachelor to Master, Master to doctorate or (career) planning after graduation, in study/motivation crises or in exam anxiety.

Coaching approach : We follow a solution-oriented consulting and systemic coaching approach . In coaching, we clarify your concerns with you, take your respective contexts into account, reflect on your personal motives, clarify your individual goals, support you in difficult decision-making processes, develop goal-oriented strategies and accompany you in their implementation. We focus primarily on your strengths and potential , develop decision-making aids and work with you to tap into resources and new perspectives, with the aim of ensuring that your time at university is both professionally successful and personally satisfying. We work in a process-oriented and solution-oriented manner and also support you if you require further advice.

The coaching sessions take place bypersonal arrangement - you are welcome to contact us as part of the study consultation or by e-mail . As a rule, we clar ify the exact reasons and objectives of the coaching in a non-binding initial meeting . If you decide on coaching, we will arrange the coaching appointments . Coaching is free of charge for LMU students .
