For the benefit of students
The study grants are provided to LMU to improve study conditions in accordance with the Bavarian Higher Education Act. The use of the study grants is discussed in commissions in which the students are equally involved. All lecturers and the student council can submit proposals.
Ms. Zeljka Pavkovic is taking care of the administration of the study grants.

Applicants | All employees at the department and the student council can submit applications. |
What can be applied for? | Applications can be made for material or personnel resources that serve exclusively to improve study conditions. Examples of legitimate use cases include: - Additional courses designed for small groups - More intensive student advisory services - More student tutorials - More correction assistants - Better supervision by additional qualified staff - More project internships - Longer library opening hours - Improved IT offerings - The expansion of loan equipment pools (notebooks, projectors etc.) - Improved and more modern teaching laboratory equipment - Creation of modern learning structures (e.g. interactive elements) |
What is NOT eligible for funding? | - The financial support of individual students through scholarships or similar. - Disbursement of funds to natural persons |
How do I submit a proposal? | Applications can be submitted following a call for applications by e-mail. Applications must be signed, scanned and sent as a PDF document to: z.pavkovic@geographie.uni-muenchen.de. Handwritten applications or applications submitted by post will not be accepted. |
When/how are proposals decided? | The study grant commission discuss the applications and make recommendations. After a proposal has been signed by the Dean of Studies, it is submitted to the Dean for approval. |

Review of success | The allocation of funds from study grants requires mandatory documentation of the measure and its verification by the applicants. Therefore, regardless of the type of measure, follow-up applications from an applicant will only be processed if the proof of use (DOCX, 177 KB)of any previous measure is present. |
