Over 80 students from our department celebrated their Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
Academic celebration 2024: 80 students have completed their Bachelor's and Master's degrees
Congratulations to the graduates of our Bachelor's and Master's degree programs! Over 80 students successfully completed their geography degree in the summer semester 2024. 50 of them now have their Bachelor's degree in their pockets, 20 their Human Geography Master's degree and 12 their Physical Geography Master's degree.
As part of the graduation ceremony, Prof. Johannes Glückler gave a speech on the importance of universities for the regional economy: In Baden-Württemberg, for example, universities generate an increase in the value added effect to 4.98 euros per euro. Graduate Amir Hasukic also gave the student lecture. Finally, the students were invited to a drink together.
