Glühwein & Chat at the GeoCafé

What we usually lack in our daily teaching lives is an open space for exchange with our students. So we are super grateful to our Fachschaft that they organized and invited us to their 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲: a casual and relaxed event with some cake, Punsch, and the occasional Glühwein where the teaching/research staff and students could get together.

We were amazed by how many students came! We had a great time chatting with them about how to improve our teaching, seminar content, our research and academic background – and about not-uni-related things at all!

The GeoCafé is a super valuable space where not only the students have the opportunity to get to know us from a different perspective, ask questions, and share their thoughts & ideas – but also for us to check back with them on what we could do better!
