We are delighted to announce that Dr. Liang Emlyn Yang has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor at Thailand’s prestigious Chulalongkorn University (CU). This appointment, effective October 1, 2025, for one year, was approved under CU’s distinguished international research program.
The selection recognizes Dr. Yang’s outstanding academic achievements and global expertise, particularly in the field of flood resilience and coastal resilience in Southeast Asia. The appointment formalizes a collaboration designed to promote high-caliber international research and academic output between our projects and institutions.
In this role, Dr. Yang will actively collaborate with the Social Research Institute at CU, led by Associate Professor Dr. Unruan Leknoi. This partnership will provide invaluable opportunities for CU students at all levels to learn from Dr. Yang’s international recognition, further strengthening our global research footprint and promoting essential cross-cultural academic exchange.
