Just in time for EnMAP’s third anniversary, we are organizing the 2nd EnMAP User Workshop from April 2-4, 2025 in Munich. EnMAP is a German hyperspectral satellite mission that provides detailed imaging data to analyze Earth’s ecosystems, natural resources, and environmental changes.
Leading experts in hyperspectral research from all over the world will come to Munich to discuss, connect and share their knowledge in the stunning Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation in Schloss Nymphenburg.
If you want to be part of hands-on exercises, talks and discussions with leading EnMAP experts, or want to present your cutting-edge research yourself and share your experience with others, you can register now for free and send in your abstracts here. Deadline is November 18. Please note that we have limited capacities for registrations. Notifications of acceptance will be sent on December 18, 2024.
Preliminary program
Day 1:
- Join expert presentations and discussions, covering the latest EnMAP research. Topics include mission status, synergies with other hyperspectral missions, and applications of EnMAP data in diverse areas like geology, soils, and urban landscapes.
- In the evening, connect with fellow researchers at our Icebreaker event.
Day 2:
- The spotlight of the scientific presentations will be on vegetation, water, and the atmosphere. Engage with poster pitches that offer a quick snapshot of cutting-edge research.
- In the afternoon, take an exclusive field trip to Munich’s space technology hubs and learn firsthand about the challenges of operating satellite missions like EnMAP.
End the day with a memorable conference dinner.
Day 3:
