My research centers on the long-term resilience of social systems to flood impacts and the development of future adaptation strategies. I am currently pursuing PhD studies as part of the ERC-STORIES research project, which explores social flood resilience through agent-based modeling (ABM) and social network analysis (SNA) methodologies. My work encompasses the conceptualization of flood resilience and the advancement of quantitative modeling approaches.
I work as a teaching assistant in the Trends Assessment, Scenario and Modeling and Applied Modeling course.
Before beginning my PhD at LMU, I completed my bachelor's degree in China and my master's degree in Germany, focusing on climate change adaptation and urban planning. I have extensive experience in agent-based modeling. Additionally, I have received comprehensive training in architecture and urban design.
My research interests span a wide range of topics. For more details, please visit my personal homepage: https://wenhanfeng.github.io/
